The sink and the toilet are very close friends.
If you want to talk class despite the lack of space, then you might want to visit the CR of
The Ice Cream Bar (Flavors by FIC). The cold, silver, white, and stark black color theme of the CR gave me the feeling that I was doing my business in a very posh hotel – a hotel that’s pressed for space, that is. The actual toilet and the sink are only 5 inches apart and I was barely able to fit inside the CR itself. This poses an issue if a large Caucasian man were to have too many scoops of ice cream.
But they do get plus points for keeping their floors and walls immaculately clean. The sink also looks like you could eat off of it. This really impressed me because in my many years of public CR experience, I have seldom seen tiles so clean. Another plus is that they have a painting inside and the warm and soft lighting gives one the impression of a relaxed atmosphere – perfect for a comfort room.
The blue substance is a mixture of water and Toilet Duck.
Another quaint element of this particular comfort room is the type of toilet that it has. Imagine the kind of toilet that airplanes have, only bigger. It’s the same color (gray) and it feels like the same lightweight plastic was used to make it. There is just one thing that boggles me. When I first came in, the water inside the toilet was bright yellow. It didn’t smell funky and I don’t think that someone deliberately refused to flush. Also, I was literally the first customer at FIC that day.
Overall, the lighting is great, and the CR is generally clean (except for the water in the toilet which I wish is a yellow version of Toilet Duck) and everything that you need is there. Suffice to say that you won’t find yourself running out of toilet paper or liquid soap.
Three stars for The Ice Cream Bar CR.
